A spa sells time in a room with a therapist, often paid in advance as a package or prepaid card, with enquiries arriving on WhatsApp late in the evening. What a spa needs that a salon doesn't
Four things to check in any spa software
- Room and bed clashes. A salon double-books a stylist; a spa double-books a room. The calendar has to know which treatment room or couple's suite each booking needs, and refuse a clash.
- Packages and prepaid value. Spa clients buy sets of massages or a prepaid card with bonus value. Balances and sittings must sit on the client's record, not in a register.
- Consumables per treatment. Oils, wraps and masks cost real money. If they aren't deducted per visit, you can't see which treatments make a profit.
- Correct GST. Spa services are "beauty and physical well-being services", taxed at 5% without input tax credit since 22 September 2025. Software that still defaults to 18% overcharges every client.

Set the SAC and rate for services once. Retail products keep their own HSN and rate on the same bill. CGST+SGST or IGST is chosen from the states.
WhatsApp inbox and AI replies
Enquiries to your WhatsApp Business number land in a shared inbox. An AI assistant answers from the information you give it (prices, timings, location) and saves the lead.
Intake and consent forms
Health questions and consent before a massage or body treatment, filled on the client's phone from a QR code at reception.
Therapist attendance and leave

Using WhatsApp the right way
In India most spa enquiries come on WhatsApp, often after 9 pm. JBMOnboard360 connects your WhatsApp Business number through the official API. The AI assistant replies to people who message you first, from the knowledge you write. Your team takes over in the same inbox.
You can also send appointment reminders and, to clients who have opted in, approved promotional templates. Spa software price in India
JBMOnboard360 Pro costs ₹1,999 per user per month billed annually, plus 18% GST, or ₹2,499 per user per month billed monthly. A user is a staff member who logs in, usually reception and the manager. There's a 7-day free trial with full access and no card.

What GST rate applies to spa services?
5% (2.5% CGST + 2.5% SGST), without input tax credit, from 22 September 2025. Spas fall under beauty and physical well-being services, SAC group 99972. Products sold at the counter carry their own HSN rate.
Can the calendar stop two bookings in the same room?
Yes. Appointments can be linked to a room or bed, and a clash is flagged before the booking is saved.
Can clients book online?
Yes, through a booking link. Each booking arrives as a request for you to approve, so you stay in control of rooms and therapists.
Does it track oils and other consumables?
Yes. Link products to a service and deduct them from stock at each visit; a reorder list shows what's low.
Can I send offers on WhatsApp?
